www.vibrantvegan.com Is Chicken Health Food? As personal trainer I work with people who are trying their best to lose weight and make themselves healthier. When I first start working with a new client I ask about their diet. “On a 1-10 scale(1 being poor, 10 being perfect) how would you rate your diet?” A common response goes something like this,”I would give myself a 7. I eat pretty well. I don’t eat much junk food or red meat. I eat mostly chicken and vegetables.” So, in an effort to lose weight, get healthier, consume less fat and cholesterol, to improve their diets, people are eating more and more chicken. In fact, Americans eat more than 2 million pounds of chicken’s muscles per hour, per day.
